Applied Instrument I

Through weekly lessons, students will study and perform scales, technical studies, etudes, and solos on their primary instrument. It includes technical skills and artistic self-expression in performance. It provides overview understanding of the repertory in the major performance area and the ability to perform from a cross-section of the that repertory. Prior to each course completion, students must be able to work on musical problems and their capabilities to perform required repertoire.
