Nursing Support Technician

This course fulfills the Alabama Board of Nursing curriculum requirements for training of nursing support technicians (NSTs) through competency evaluation. Emphasis is placed on the development of knowledge, attitudes, and skills required of the nursing support technician. Upon successful completion of this course, the student the student should demonstrate of satisfactory performance on written examinations, practical lab, and clinical skills.
