Advanced Pediatric Nursing II - Acute Care

The purpose of this course is to integrate prior theoretical and practical knowledge for diagnoses and management of the health and illness children with complex acute, critical and chronic illness across the entire pediatric age spectrum, from birth to young adulthood in the role of the Doctor of Nursing Practice prepared Advanced Practice Nurse. The focus of this course is on health promotion and disease prevention and management strategies from inter professional domains.
