Gateway: Introduction to the Arts

This course will introduce students to the function, value, and character of the arts in our everyday lives. It will give students the opportunity to consider the value of the arts in their own development as a person, a student, and as a professional. This course may function a little differently from other courses you take at the University of Alabama. The goal is to push students out into various art communities: formal and informal, professional and student, local and global.
