Advanced Palliative Care Nursing II

The purpose of this course is to provide the student with opportunities to integrate in-depth knowledge of health assessment and management skills to provide care for clients with commonly occurring chronic and complex health problems as well as palliative care problems. The focus of the course is the development of strategies to market the nurse practitioner role, to create a specific practice position, and to explore strategies to market palliative care and their role in family health care.
