New Testament Text - Hebrews

This course is an introduction to and exegetical study of the book of Hebrews. Attention is given to questions of authorship, literary characteristics, date, and purpose. Attention is also given to the author’s interpretation of the Old Testament and development of Old Testament themes, his theology, and his practical exhortation. Instruction will be in English with students required to translate portions of the text covered.
