Transition to Registered Nursing Practice

Building on previous knowledge and experience in the practical nursing role, this course will prepare Licensed Practicum Nurses (LPN) to transition to the baccalaureate-prepared registered nursing (RN) role through critical analysis of the relationship between leadership, policy advocacy, and membership within the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Students will also examine how nursing theory guides professional practice.
