Credit hours were increased from 3 to 5 following incorporation of NU414 This course focuses on professional nursing principles for the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health for older adults. Contemporary health issues and concerns of this age group are studied with emphasis on developmental changes, health promotion practices, the impact of illness, spiritual dimensions, and cultural diversity.
