Advanced Nursing Theory

The exploration of the nature of knowledge and theory through the study of selected nursing theories, as well as the study of theories in other disciplines. The focus of this course is to apply and utilize theory to promote the understanding of information for improving health. Theoretical foundations of advanced nursing practice are examined including the evolution of nursing knowledge by examining theoretical structures from other disciplines.
