To progress to this course, all previous coursework counting towards the graduate or doctoral nursing degree must be completed with a grade of “B” or better. This course is designed for the study of various factors as they relate to the occurrence, frequency, and distribution of disease across the lifespan. This includes origin, transmission, host/ environmental factors that influence the development of disease, as well as issues related to health planning, policy, and evaluation.
