Teaching the Health Care Consumer: Clinical Practicum

A clinical course that assesses the learning needs of a selected health care population. Students will use these assessed learning needs to plan, implement, and evaluate culturally, age-appropriate teaching plans. The focus of this course is to prepare the nurse to expand the knowledge base of health care consumers - individuals, groups, and communities - in areas of health.
