Physio-Pathological Basis of Advanced Nursing

To progress to this course, all previous coursework counting towards the graduate or doctoral nursing degree must be completed with a grade of "B" or better. The purpose of this course for the DNP student is to provide an analysis of pathophysiology in frequently encountered conditions across the lifespan and in special populations. The focus is to introduce pathophysiological theories and research as a basis for advanced nursing practice.
