Fundamental Concepts of Nursing

This course teaches foundational knowledge of nursing concepts and clinical decision making to provide evidence-based nursing care. Content includes but is not limited to: healthcare delivery systems, professionalism, health promotion, psychosocial well- being, functional ability, gas exchange, safety, pharmacology, and coordinator/manager of care. (Theory offered via distance education in hybrid option.) This course contains 1 credit hour of clinical.
