Adult Health and Pharmacotherapy I

The purpose of this course is for learners to become competent in the care of adult patients. The focus of this course is or learners to utilize critical thinking to develop holistic nursing plans of care that promote positive health outcomes, manage acute and chronic conditions utilizing pharmacotherapy, and provide education and support to this patient population. This course emphasizes the application of theoretical knowledge through in-class discussions, case studies, and content exams.
