Pediatric Nursing: Concepts and Practicum

The purpose of this course is to develop and practice competent care of pediatric patients. The focus of this course is for learners to utilize critical thinking skills to develop and implement holistic plans of care that promote health, prevent and manage acute and chronic conditions for the pediatric patient population, and provide education and support to the child-family unit.
