Pediatric Nursing

The purpose of this course is for students to develop knowledge for the competent care of pediatric patients, families, and caregivers. The focus of this course is for students to utilize critical thinking skills to discuss and develop holistic plans of care that promote pediatric health, prevent, and manage acute and chronic conditions, and provide education and support to the child-infant family unit.
