Issues Affecting Advanced Nursing Practice

This course prepares graduate nursing students to incorporate management and leadership skills in the practice arena. The health care environment and culture, selected organizational, economic, and financial theories, strategic planning, change theory, health care marketing and information and quality management will be explored in the context of contemporary issues such as bioterrorism and health care policy and regulation.
