Pathophysiology for Health Professions

This course provides an introduction and overview of pathophysiological concepts, mechanisms of disease, and how diseases affect body systems and cause functional changes. Topics include the effect of disease on cells, tissues, and organ systems, physiological responses to disease; and how genetics, nutrition, environment, and culture influence the body.
