Mental Health and the Movies: Using Films to Understand Psychopathology

This course focuses on the portrayal of mental illness in films. Representations of psychopathological states in films will be examined within the context of contemporary social issues such as stigma and discrimination. Major mental disorders will be highlighted. This course is open to all majors within the university.
