Principles of Critical Care Nursing

Provides structured learning experiences in adult critical care environments in tertiary health care settings. The student establishes priorities of care for patients experiencing complex and multisystem health stressors. Communication skills are strengthened as students collaborate with other members of the health care team to become managers of care for critically ill patients. LEC 3.5, LAB 12 hours per week for 12 weeks.
