Health Policy, Ethics, and Issues in Advanced Nursing

Practice. This course prepares students as advocates and change agents in health policy development, implementation, and evaluation. Current professional, ethical, and legal issues that influence advanced practice nursing, nursing education and the health care delivery system are presented. The importance of collaborative engagement in health care policy and economics at the local, national, and global levels is emphasized.
