Pediatric and Adolescent Primary Care Practicum

This course serves as a companion course to NURS 5354. Students will apply and refine skills using an evidence-based approach for health promotion, disease prevention, and management of common acute and chronic illnesses for pediatric and adolescent patients using family centered and developmental perspectives. Students complete practicum hours with emphasis in pediatric primary care.
