Managing Health & Illness

This course will prepare nurse leaders and aspiring nurse leaders to participate on and lead teams which create and direct efforts to promote wellness and manage illness across the continuum of care while immersed in a 60-hour clinical experience. Covered topics include pharmacology, physiology and pathology management within systems, risk aversion and management, infection control, and community, state, and national health care objectives.
