Health Information Management (ICD-10, CPT-4 Coding)

This course is designed to promote an understanding the structure, analysis and management of medical records through classroom instruction and outside lab. Emphasis is on filing and managing medical records, coding of diseases, opera- tions and procedures, and the legal aspects of medical records. Upon completion, the student should be able to maintain med- ical records efficiently. Code C.
