Physical Science

This course is an introductory course designed to help students understand the nature of the physical universe and the scientific method of investigation. Major topics include measurements, the study of light, crystals, diffractions and interferences of light, differences in matter, matter in motion, energy, kinetics theories of gases, bonding forces, electric charges in motion, models of atoms, ions, and the nature of an ionic crystal, molecules and non-ionic materials.
