Drug Delivery Systems II

The second of a two-course sequence focusing on the dosage forms and delivery systems available for different routes of administration. This course will focus on drugs and excipients and the rational design and manufacturing of dosage forms for oral as well as alternate routes of administration. Topics will be closely associated with foundational formulation concepts from Drug Delivery Systems I, including delivery, release, and therapeutic effectiveness of dosage forms.
