Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacogenomics

This course will provide the foundational aspects of biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacogenomics. Students will gain an understanding of the mathematical modeling of drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME), and basic principles in pharmacogenomics and its role in precision medicine. Additionally, the impact of the dosage regimen, drug formulation, and human genetic variation on ensuing therapeutic drug plasma concentrations will be addressed.
