Medical Ethics

Introduction to the ethical issues in health care, medical research, and public policy, with ethical analyses of such issues as euthanasia, physician-assisted suicide, embryonic stem cell therapies, medical research on patients, abortion, in vitro fertilization, cloning, and the natural and civil rights to health care. Satisfies the general education humanities requirement for most majors.
