Studies such topics as method and explanation in the sciences; the demarcation between science and pseudoscience; realist and anti- realist views about scientific theories; the logic of scientific change; confirmation; reduction; laws of nature; underdetermination; and society, science, values and also explores the intellectual, social and cultural history of science, mathematics and philosophy.
