This course is a philosophical examination of some of the most pressing ethical questions raised by the emergence of powerful AI. We will consider what sort of reliance on AI is morally permissible, under what circumstances the development of AI is itself morally permissible, and how humans should respond to the ethical dilemmas imposed upon us by AI.
