PHOTOJOURNALISM I

Presentation of photographic techniques used by photojournalists in newspapers, magazines, trade publications and digital media to include news, feature, sports, editorial portraits, and photo essays. Includes a study of layout design and the freelance market. Requires photographing outdoors in a variety of conditions, and outside of class times. Must be taken with PHTC 2274 Directed Study Year Two Camera and Digital Darkroom.
