American Law Seminar

This course provides an advanced overview of American jurisprudence. To this end, we will focus on case law in a number of common law subjects, specifically constitutional law, criminal law and procedure, torts, contracts, and property. We will also cover legal and cultural history, jurisprudence, and ethics topics in order to promote a better understanding of the role that law plays in a modern, liberal democratic society.
