Forensic Psychology

This course covers the relationships between psychology and the criminal justice system. Emphasis is placed on how psychological variables influence the way in which individuals carry out their duties within the system. Sample topics include: (a) psychology and jury decision-making, (b) accuracy/impact of eyewitnesses testimony, and (c) how the characteristics of defendants may influence juries.
