Basic Psychology

An introduction to the polysomnographic skills and principles necessary for procedures to be performed in the clinical setting. Emphasis will be placed on the practical application of sleep technology. Students will be required to master the skills of patient and equipment preparation; appropriate choice of leads; electrodes and sensors; proper patient preparation techniques and 10-20 EEG measurement.
