Designed for social and behavioral science students, this course covers measurement scales, graphing, measures of central tendency and variability, transformed scores, correlation and regression, normal distribution, sampling distributions, hypothesis testing, t- and z-tests, introduction to ANOVA-F test, and certain nonparametric statistics. Emphasis is on the conceptual understanding of statistics within the context of research and the interpretation of statistical results.
