Introduction to Physical Therapy

This course introduces students to the profession of physical therapy including its history, the professional association, scope of practice, practice settings, and interdisciplinary care. Doctoral education, expectations for entry-level practice, residency, specialization within the field, and career opportunities are also addressed.
