Cognitive Neuroimaging

This course will focus on examining the neural bases of higher cognitive and social functions. We will discuss the basics of functional MRI and will study scientific papers in neuroimaging to arrive at neural characterization of cognitive functions, such as: executive functions, emotion, intentionality, language comprehension, and social cognition. This course will provide students a unique opportunity to learn about the potential of neuroimaging in understanding cognition.
