GERIATRIC CARE II

This study of geriatric health focuses on geriatric patient assessment and management of common pharmacotherapy issues in the older adult patient. Students will be required to evaluate how pharmacists can impact these sequelae through pharmacotherapy management while optimizing patient's health-related quality of life. This course focuses on those pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic characteristics that are unique to, or more prevalent among, geriatric patients.
