This course is an introduction to concepts, principles, problems, and practices of supply chain management. Emphasis is on managerial processes for effective operations in both goods-producing and service-rendering organization. Topics include strategic overview of supply chain management, value adding activities, procurement/logistics, relationships and management of suppliers, production processes, and distribution.
