Critical Media Literacy for Educators

This course examines critical media literacy and how to critically engage with, and make sense of, the media, including social media. This course helps students develop the analytic tools needed to examine media content and make more informed choices as an active audience. Students develop the critical skills to analyze, deconstruct, and reconstruct media messages, and develop lessons to help their middle school students to do the same.
