Pharmacology

Introduction to the science of pharmacology with emphasis on the actions, interactions, adverse effects, and nursing implications of drug classifications. Content includes the roles and responsibilities of the professional nurse in safe administration of medications and pharmacological agents within a legal/ethical framework. This course is a mandatory and ranking course for the nursing program. Course completion is required before ranking into the Nursing program.
