Introduction to Respiratory Care

This course is designed to acquaint the student with responsi- bilities of the Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) as a member of the health care team. Areas of emphasis include: history of a the profession, credentialing mechanism, licensure, medical ethics, communication skills, basic medical terminology, and patient assessment.
