Legal and Contractual Aspects of Sport

This course introduces the varied legal aspects of the sport industry (tort law, criminal and civil law, labor relations, Title IX issues, etc.) and specifically focuses on the interaction between leadership positions in sport and the legal issues they encounter. This course will also provide an in depth view of contract law, including the specific legal issues associated with contract negotiation, execution, and breach.
