Expedition Leadership

This course is designed to provide students interested in leading groups on extended outdoor experiences with essential information relative to expedition success. Emphasis will be placed on leader judgment and leadership styles, identifying expedition outcomes and creating positive group environment, group processing, decision-making and consentience building, logistics, trip planning, and risk management. A review of basic outdoor living skills will also be part of this course.
