Acting Intern - Gen Surgery

The student will be taught to perform a complete ophthalmic assessment, including obtaining pertinent details of history, examining the patient utilizing the appropriate equipment, and formulating a management plan. One-to-one instruction by staff will guide the student learning these skills. Using the American Academy of Ophthalmology's Study Guide, the student will review clinically pertinent ophthalmic anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and therapy.
