Statistics for Social Work Practice

This course provides a basic introduction to the conceptual and quantitative tools used to describe and interpret data in the conduct of social work practice and research. Students will gain an understanding of statistical analysis and its role in social work research. Students will develop the skills necessary to collect data appropriate for statistical analysis, select and apply appropriate statistical tests, and integrate statistics with social work practice skills and ethical practice.
