Field Instruction and Seminar I

The first of the two-part field education course series, this is the department’s signature pedagogy course that is designed to help students integrate into the professional role of being a social work practitioner. The course allows students to connect social work theory, knowledge, values, and skills acquired throughout the social work curriculum with actual practice within an agency setting.
