Computer-Aided Design

In this course, principles of 3D modeling are introduced in the preparation of drawings for manufacturing processes. Emphasis includes the parametric solid modeling of machine elements, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing. The laboratory component involves production of engineering drawings and simulations connecting this course to computer-aided engineering.
