Technical Theatre

Introduces methods of constructing and painting scenery and properties, operating stage lighting and sound equipment, and implementing costumes and multimedia. This course explores the proper procedures of serving on stage crews. Surveys the history and development of theatrical practices from Ancient Greece to the Renaissance as well as non-western forms, emphasizing all aspects of performance from period values to analysis of dramatic literature and culture.
