Italy and the Western Intellectual Tradition

Through on-site study at locations like the Roman Forum, the Musei Capitolini, the Uffizi, the Vatican Museum, and others, this study abroad course examines the Western Intellectual Tradition as it developed through the art, architecture, and material culture of Rome and Florence. Course may be substituted for SOA 200 (Arts in Society, Non-SOA Majors) only, to meet the general education fine arts requirement.
